“From a very young age, I have been passionate about the world of fashion. I liked to go to shopping stores and see the magazines on the red carpet”, says Mario Salafranca.
I have always wanted to create my own line. The fact that people liked my designs and trusted in what I was creating gave me indescribable courage.
Mario Salafranca is a fashion brand for special occasions. We make designs for women and men for the gala. And our garments are characterized by marking the silhouette, being daring, and having bright colors.
The bridal collection that we have launched this year started with the name VERTIGO because of the complicated circumstances we are living in during the pandemic. We are waiting for the situation to improve so that we can do a show and present it to our clients.
We have selected fabrics with a lot of drapes and exquisite quality to achieve the best possible results. Once we have the fabrics, the patterns, the making, and the necessary adjustments are made. Our designs are full of small details for a very neat and clean confection.
We like to bet on fabrics with a fall so that the movement is as striking as possible. We also like to use bright colors that give us more strength in the design.
Within the diverse lifestyles of today’s women and their need to dress for many different occasions, the designer focuses his attention on events that require the highest elegance. We bet on a confident, independent, daring woman who wants to feel different and unique. A woman who does not care what others say, and relies on design, crafts, and Spanish fashion.
We are identified by dressing women in pants with a special touch, different sleeves, and details inspired by southern Spain.
My greatest inspiration is women with power, character and who seek to make a difference.
As for architecture and culture, I was inspired by my country of origin – Spain – especially its southern area. Flamenco art and its movements are always important in our designs.
And finally, the VERTIGO collection is inspired by the fear we had when launching a bridal collection with the situation we are experiencing. But fears are only overcome when you face them.
Aside from the bridal collection we have launched this year, we are going to launch a line of bags combined with our neoprene masks.
Our goal for 2021 is to endure the de-escalation of the pandemic so that when everything returns to normal, we will be stronger than ever. Mario Salafranca wants to grow and reach people in big cities.
For this reason, the next thing will be to open a new atelier in the great capital of Valencia and to be able to dress the best artists in the country on the red carpets.
